Easy Gooey Gorilla Bread is quick, simple, full of flavor and easy to make. If you need a quick breakfast, dessert, or snack, we highly recommend trying this Easy Gooey Gorilla Bread.
I love waking up to a warm breakfast on a cold day. This Easy Gooey Gorilla Bread is stuffed with cream cheese and oozing with gooey goodness.
We love this for breakfast, but we also have it for “bringer” (which is breakfast for dinner, at our house) with scrambled eggs and bacon, or we even have it for dessert. It is so sweet and delicious, you could pair it with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Call me crazy, but this bread is even better than a donut to me. It’s so quick and yummy, and you can make it right at home, in just minutes. You will love this Easy Gooey Gorilla Bread Recipe.
what could i replace the walnuts with?
I love the sweet crunch of the walnuts with this recipe. They add just the perfect amount of texture, and I go crazy for them.
However, I get that not everyone is a huge walnut fan, which is totally fine. So here are a few replacements we recommend:
- Craisins
- Raisins
- Pecans
- Cashews
- Almonds
- Chocolate Chips
- Caramel Sauce Drizzle
- Frosting Glaze
- Powdered Sugar
Or you could go without a garnish or crunch, and just eat it as is. It will be delicious with or without the walnuts, or topping of choice. It doesn’t necessarily need it, but we love the extra flair, and texture it brings.
can i make this recipe ahead of time?
You could most definitely make this recipe ahead of time. We recommend spraying the pan with non-stick cooking spray, very well, if you plan to cook it later.
We wouldn’t recommend making it more than 24 hours in advance, before cooking it. It is made with biscuit dough, which doesn’t really tend to grow all that much, but just for freshness, this is best when prepared then baked right away.
When I make it, I usually prepare it then bake right away, but I recently prepared it at night, then baked it the following morning and it turned out perfect.

This Pecan French Toast is full of sweet caramel pecan goodness. If you have never tried this, we also recommend giving it a go. It’s the best way to wake up. We even have it for “brinner” some nights (breakfast for dinner).

I just had to come by and say hello! I am from a family of 7 girls! I just attended the birth of my youngest sister's second baby today. There are 26 grandkids now. I was thinking as I drove over how wonderful it is to have sisters to love and support and be there for each other when we have babies, as well as the other good things and bad things. There is just NOTHING in the world like a sister!

Any advice on making this ahead of time? Looking for a Christmas morning recipe and want to be able to just pop something in the oven while we open presents.
-
Cyd says:
You should be fine to make it the night before. It has biscuits in it and they don't really rise. Just keep it covered well and put it in the fridge. Just pop it in the oven while you open gifts. Check on it periodically and make sure it's doing ok. :)

Did it turn out okay making ahead?
-
Mikeyswife says:
When making ahead, did you do the entire thing ahead of time including the butter mixture and leave only the actual baking until the next day or did you just do the wrapping the biscuits around the creamCheese ahead of time?
-
Momma Cyd says:
We did everything except for baking it.
