- Avocado: Contains vitamin E; moisturizes

Coconut Milk: Smooths and softens

Nuts (finely ground): scrub

Tomato: opens pores
Vinegar: Cleanser; anti-burn/itch

Try These Organic Recipes

NOTE: For best results, always clean your skin first, steam to open thepores, then apply the mask. And as always, if you experience anydiscomfort, rinse off immediately.
- Acne facial: 3 tbs. honey, 1 tsp. lemon juice, 1tsp. cinnamon. Leave on for 20 minutes then rise. Note: you cansubstitute nutmeg for cinnamon. Both have anti-redness andanti-inflammatory properties.
- All Purpose Cleanser: Mix 1 tsp whole milk with 1 tsp. yogurt and a little oatmeal. Scrub your entire face then rinse with cool water.
- Toner: Mix lemon juice and rosewater together in equal amounts then dab on with cotton.
- Dry Skin Mask: 4 tbs yogurt, ½ banana, ½ ripeavocado, 1 egg yolk, 1 tsp. olive oil, 1 tbs. honey. Note that masksshould be left on for about 10-15 minutes. Rinse your skin thoroughlyafterward.
- Oily Skin Mask: 1 tsp. pineapple juice, 1 tsp. cornstarch, ½ cucumber (puree), 1 egg white, 1 tbs. lemon juice, 1 tsp. milk.
- Normal Skin Mask: 1 mashed peach, 1 tbs. honey, 1 tsp. yogurt, 1 tsp. orange juice.
- Scrub: 1 cup crushed almonds, ½ cu yogurt, 1tbs. honey, 1 tbs. almond oil. Gently scrub in small circles (stay awayfrom your eyes). Rinse well.
- Vitamin C Mask: Crush 2-3 vitamin C tablets(around 500 mg each) and add enough water and honey to make a paste. Ifyour skin is really dry add a few drops of olive oil orvitamin E oil. Apply this mask all over face and neck and let it sit for10-15 min. Then rinse well. If you feel any stinging or uncomfortabletingling, remove immediately. Some people may be sensitive to a vitamin Cmask.

- Wrinkle Cream: 4 tbs. honey, 4 tbs. wheat germoil, 3 tbs. rose water, 5 tbs. witch hazel, 2 tbs. olive oil. Rub thisinto the areas where wrinkles show.
One Precaution: If you are allergic to a food itemused in the facial, your skin may be sensitive to it as well. Whenyou’re uncertain, try a small amount on your skin, leaving it for a fewminutes, then rise. Look for any sign of irritation.
